2025 Pet 'n' Pup Parade

Sponsored by NorwalkOhioNews.com and organized by the city's Parks and Recreation Department, Norwalk's annual Pet 'n' Pup Parade dates back to 1946 and features local children and their pets dressed in various costumes, marching down Main Street, being led by the Norwalk Middle School eighth grade band. There is no cost to participate. Registration and judging will begin at 1:30 p.m. on the front lawn of Main Street Intermediate School, with the parade starting at 2 p.m. A king and queen will be crowned, and each will receive a special prize. First- and second-place place prizes also will be awarded in each of the following categories: 2 years old and younger; 3 to 5 years old; 6 and 7 years old; 8 to 10 years old; and 11 to 13 years old.
